Brondell Capella Reverse Osmosis System with Efficient 1:1 Water Ratio

The Brondell H2O+ Capella RC250 is Brondell's most efficient under counter reverse osmosis system, made for heavy daily use in a busy home or an office kitchen. Its patented eco efficient membrane reaches a 1:1 ratio of clean water to wastewater, which Brondell rates up to 20 times more efficient than other reverse osmosis systems, and it holds the WQA Gold Seal for contaminant reduction.

Filtration happens in stages. An activated carbon plus filter and a carbon block filter reduce microplastics, VOCs, chlorine and odors first, protecting the reverse osmosis membrane so it can do the fine work. The RF-30 carbon filters are replaced every 6 months, and the RF-50 membrane every 24 months, so upkeep is predictable.

Filtered water is stored in a 3.2 gallon tank, with about 1.6 gallons usable depending on water pressure, and dispensed at a rated service flow of 0.5 gallons per minute. The modern faucet has a built in air gap that prevents backflow, plus an LED light that reminds you when filters are due. The system runs on 35 to 100 psi of water pressure with feed water between 39 and 100 F.

Capella is designed to be a realistic do it yourself project. The faucet tubing comes preinstalled, quick connect fittings snap together, and the filters twist and seal into place. The filter assembly measures 13.5 inches long, 3.75 inches wide and 13.5 inches high, the tank with stand is 14.5 inches high and 8.5 inches deep, and the system weighs 11.4 pounds.
